The acronym MRDO stands for “Movement for Rural Development Organization”. It is a social welfare organization,. MRDO organized the local Youth in 1998 for welfare of poor farmers of his village. Sometimes, the village society would arrange free medical camps in collaboration of different NGOs for the welfare of the poor community in different villages of Mardan.

MRDO registered In December 2008 originally under the Society Registration act XXI of 1860 (Registration No. 1464/5/5758) Khyber Pakhtun Khwa, Pakistan. MRDO is a multipurpose gender sensitive youth focused, community based welfare and development driven non-profit Organization working in the fields of  Women empowerment, Human Rights (Women & Child Rights) , Emergency Relief,  Education, Health/Reproductive Health , Environmental Protection, WaterSupply and Sanitation & Agriculture. The Group of Energetic Youth makes an Organization, which shall run on self-help basis for the poor rural community of central region of Khyber Pakhtun Khwa. Thus an NGO was setup by this group of young social activist, Lawyers, Agriculturists, doctors & educationist and its name was kept M.R.D.O “Movement for Rural Development Organization”. This organization was registered with GOP Society Registration act XXI of 1860 (Registration No. 1464/5/5758) Khyber Pakhtun Khwa, Pakistan.

MRDO (Movement for Rural Development Organization) is a registered Organization and we are working from the last 4 years, we are running the organization on self bases and we done allot without the help of donors, we all are volunteers and we arranged Peace rallies, Awareness sessions for the Rural Community of Khyber Pakhtun Khwa Pakistan especially the dangerous valley of Swat, we are aware peoples about Women Rights, we faced many difficult situations but we continue our struggles, and now we proudly say that we bring change in the community, because 6 years ago, no man can talk to a female, because of society restriction but now the people aware about their rights and now the situation change and now female can travel with us for meeting for seminar and also raised their voice for their rights….
We all are devoted to our works and we donate our full time as volunteer life time…and we believe that if we want to bring change 1st change our self, home, village, town, and so on….
We have lot of stories …we also trained the community youth and now they are struggling to solving their problems, we assign volunteer projects to our youth groups and they doing very well….
We are running a movement for social change and this is our motto
